[00:00:00]Darius: Welcome to Out the Trunk with Jordan and Darius. My name is Darius. That's Steve's I love the area on all socials.

[00:00:04]Jordan: And I'm Jordan. That's Jordan B writing on all socials.

[00:00:08]Darius: This is our segment where we let you guys know what's on our mind, what we're thinking about that's happening on the internet, likewise and so forth. Sunday was the Grammys. I'm not going to pretend to know all of the songs that played for me while I was on my television, but I did listen to every rap album so I can comment on that category. Well-known rapper, some somewhat known rapper named Kendrick Lamar won for Album of the Year, GNX. Right. Yeah.

[00:00:36]Jordan: I thought I thought it was appropriate. I mean, there were everybody. This was one of the years year where there was a lot of good rap albums. But I just felt like it was the biggest album of the year was the biggest conversation piece of the year. I mean, to me, it had probably of the five nominated. I'd say it probably had the best replay value, at least to me. Yes, when I spun the most last year and I still listen to it. So yeah, I wasn't mad at the choice. I know, of course, there's a running joke, you know, Kendra's open his mouth. Someone go Hannah McGrammy right now. But I think he did deserve the Grammy.

[00:01:17]Darius: Sometimes jokes are funny because there's a kernel of truth in it. And no, it's not literally. But I mean, I wouldn't even I mean, chromocopia was just head and shoulders above GNX. Let God sort them out was better than GNX.

[00:01:31]Jordan: Really? You think so?

[00:01:32]Darius: Oh, yeah. I mean, GNX was just a bunch of tracks to tour with. It wasn't even an album. He just threw a bunch of party.

[00:01:39]Jordan: Tracks to tour with. Let God sort them out. It was obviously the intro track is phenomenal and heartbreaking. And I love that song and I love the clips. But after that, the rest of the album is about what exactly?

[00:01:51]Darius: What's GNX about?

[00:01:55]Jordan: It's a bunch of songs that toy with. I think there was more. They were fun songs, but it's, I don't know, it's about something. I feel like a lot of this is just them saying really cool things about really shallow things, to be honest, outside of that first song.

[00:02:12]Darius: I mean, if that's the standard, then they GNX did the same thing and they did it better. So, but if that is, then Chromacopia was the album to win. That was actually. I mean, he has a song on there.

[00:02:29]Jordan: I think I just haven't spun that very. I don't just don't spin that off very often. Honestly, that it's a great album. I just don't spin it. Probably don't spin it enough. Maybe I got to. I think with that album, I just never found the right setting to listen to it. Like the right, you know.

[00:02:43]Darius: No, I mean, look, is it a travesty on par with Macklemore winning? No, but no, no, no.

[00:02:49]Jordan: Nothing will ever top that.

[00:02:50]Darius: No, but I just. That was beyoncé winning for Cowboy Carter, which is not great, but not Chromacopia was better. I would rank GNX was fine, but the only one I think it was Head and Shoulders better than was that Globe Rilla album that I can't even name. So I guess I just had to put one girl on the marquee.

[00:03:18]Jordan: Maybe, I guess.

[00:03:19]Darius: That was definitely the leftovers.

[00:03:24]Jordan: I will say I did love Jid's album and I'm glad he at least got got nominated. So, you know, sometimes I feel like sometimes in certain situations, the nomination really is the win because you're going to be in a conversation. People are going to go find your **** you know, because I really **** with his music. I will say the thing that's really dope is that Tyler Clips and Kendrick and Jid to some degree were all on each other's albums pretty much. So I thought that was pretty cool.

[00:03:49]Darius: Yeah, I just. And I like GNX well enough, but what is it? The. I mean, I'm I'm ranking Dodd's albums, Good Kid, Mad City to the Butterfly Damn. GNX and then Mr. Morales. So we're talking about his second worst album when again, that's he has no bad album. Well, Mr. Morales was rising.

[00:04:10]Jordan: But I love that album. But I get it. It's not it's not for, you know, for a note.

[00:04:15]Darius: But it just felt like. That was his last year when he dropped Not Like Us.

[00:04:22]Jordan: Yeah.

[00:04:22]Darius: So reoccurring guests on our podcast, Cam Newton said something controversial again. So why don't you tell the people what Cam said?

[00:04:33]Jordan: Yeah, he had a guy on the show. I'm sorry, I don't know who the guy has never seen him before. And he was talking about like, they're talking about friendships and platonic friendships with women. And he was asking Cam if he has any platonic relationships in his life. And Cam was like, What? Hell no. And he went to his whole spiel about if I'm an unattractive woman, I'm going to want to sleep with her. And if I'm a woman, even though I'm not attracted to her, I will find value in something and then I'm going to want to sleep with her, basically. And so everybody, of course, was saying, you know, that's unhealthy, that's not normal, that's crazy, so on and so forth. I'm more on the side of, yeah, that's pretty unhealthy. But I saw somebody, somebody.

[00:05:16]Darius: Well, what's really unhealthy is he said, I'm going to try to stab her. And I need men to stop having violent euphemisms for sex.

[00:05:25]Jordan: Yeah, It's just not.

[00:05:28]Darius: You're not stabbing anything you need something else.

[00:05:32]Jordan: And it sounds really bad coming from a six five, 260 pound man. It just.

[00:05:37]Darius: Just you're beating things up, you're stabbing things. Just can we stop with the violet you cracking? Oh, just can we just get it softened?

[00:05:48]Jordan: Yeah, cracking smashing. Yeah, yeah. No, that is the thing that we do. We do need to amend because I mean, even like I remember I said something about once I was talking to a woman friend and I said something about oh I think this girl wants me to whatever and she was like I don't think you would use that language even that sounds as though it's something that she would not she's not desiring in a sense yeah you know so I mean that was more far more innocuous than this situation but yeah so a guy tweeted the conversation And he said, this conversation is always so disingenuous. Dudes who pretend to be friends with women in hopes of ******* them, trying to gaslight normal men for not living, for not moving like snakes. These are also the same men that don't approve of their girlfriends having male friends. Goofy troopers. I thought that was kind of interesting take on it because we don't really, nobody ever talks about it from that angle when we talk about it in terms of men not having platonic friends. And I guess It was an interesting point because I guess you'd rather have a guy being up front than, the fake friend essentially. But I want to get your thoughts on that.

[00:07:00]Darius: Well, obviously, Cam's a moron. Of course.

[00:07:04]Jordan: Yeah. We got to start with that.

[00:07:06]Darius: Last time I shot him a little bail. I can't. with this. You did.

[00:07:09]Jordan: You shot him too much.

[00:07:12]Darius: This and he kept saying platonic, which is not.

[00:07:16]Jordan: Yes, I was like, is he, I couldn't tell if he was joking, like if he's trying to be clever, like play friends or like, I'm not gonna play around with my sexuality, essentially. You know, they say.

[00:07:26]Darius: People who, if you mispronounce a word, it's because you've read it a lot and haven't heard it out loud. I don't think that applies to Cam. I'm just gonna go on a limb and say, I don't.

[00:07:33]Jordan: No, not at all.

[00:07:34]Darius: I don't think he's mispronouncing platonic because he read it and hadn't heard it yet. Just thought. No. I mean, look, I am someone with a lot of female friends. more or less because I find most men mind-numbingly dumb. And so I just enjoy, I just enjoy women as company more than I enjoy most men as company. So obviously I can be friends with women because those, a lot of my friends. So I don't, I wholeheartedly disagree with him. But I do, I do I don't think, I understand like when a female friend of mine, and I'm sorry if I'm using female wrong, I don't know the rules these days. But. Right. Because in certain situations you have to use the word. I just don't know the rules. I can't keep up. I'm just going to, yeah. Anyways, they get boyfriends and things change. And I don't take offense to that because I get it. is, especially if it's new. bizarre to be, messaging someone else all day. So I get it. I don't take offense to it. Some, boyfriends are better about it than others, but no, I wholeheartedly disagree with Cam, but I also understand a new boyfriend changing the dynamics and it being a bit of a fallback situation. So I am someone who, like I'm repeating myself, but yeah, I have a lot of female friends. I enjoy talking to women more. I find them to have a wider range of conversations that they can hold. True. And it's not to say I don't have any male friends. I mean, I hang out with you every weekend. You, Lewis, Jay, everybody. But if I just like, from a pure number standpoint, I end up talking to a lot more women than men just in general. So no, I wholeheartedly disagree with Cam.

[00:09:36]Jordan: So yeah, yeah, I'm with you on that. I think it I just it's crazy to hear him like we hear we've heard obviously hear guys say that kind of **** or I've heard what he said was not uncommon.

[00:09:48]Darius: It was not uncommon.

[00:09:50]Jordan: I hear him say it on camera using that language.

[00:09:54]Darius: Stabbing knowing how big stabber.

[00:09:56]Jordan: Knowing how big it knowing. How his voice carries and how big his name is. That was quite unusual. That's what you expect to hear, like the old New York rappers to say.

[00:10:07]Darius: Yeah, it's like all those rap albums with those skits that you just have, they're so uncomfortable, you have to skip them. You know, go listen to a WWA album. And it's like, do y'all like that?

[00:10:18]Jordan: Oh, God.

[00:10:18]Darius: And the answer is no. Kim has. He does.

[00:10:28]Jordan: He has a lot of issues to work out. He needs to go talk to a paid professional, respectfully.

[00:10:37]Darius: He needs to sit on the couch and what they say, talk to the lady.

[00:10:40]Jordan: Yeah, talk to the lady, man.

[00:10:42]Darius: I don't know if I trust him.

[00:10:44]Jordan: You know what? You're right. No. Yeah. Because he be trying to **** all his guests.

[00:10:50]Darius: Did you see his, because he apparently has his new, I guess, 106 in Park is rebooting as a sports show.

[00:10:55]Jordan: Yeah, 106 in sports. Yeah.

[00:10:57]Darius: And his female co-host was like, well, this is interesting.

[00:11:01]Jordan: She was like, well, this is awkward.

[00:11:03]Darius: He either called her ugly or said he's secretly trying to have sex with her. Those are only two options.

[00:11:08]Jordan: Correct. And if you've seen that young lady, she's not ugly.

[00:11:11]Darius: So certainly can't be. No, not at all. No, not at all.

[00:11:17]Jordan: She's drop dead gorgeous.

[00:11:18]Darius: So that that leaves her in a peculiar spot in her workplace. No, I mean, just logistically.

[00:11:27]Jordan: So it's like, do you want to be called ugly secretly?

[00:11:31]Darius: I you know that only she can answer that question. Yeah, only she can answer that. I don't think she's giving up that check though, but no, for sure.

[00:11:42]Jordan: Yeah, of course not.

[00:11:43]Darius: How does he like? So he has no female production staff on his pod. He has no like not a videographer. Good point. That's a good question. Like there's a there's a I imagine there are more women than just I believe her name is Ashley Nicole that works on the show with him.

[00:11:59]Jordan: Yeah.

[00:11:59]Darius: That are just like, wait a minute, what'd that mean?

[00:12:02]Jordan: No, seriously. Yeah, because what?

[00:12:05]Darius: And he might have come to this like I can't be friends and his out could be where y'all are co-workers. So maybe that's a way you can split that one down the middle.

[00:12:16]Jordan: Yeah, in a world of Cam Newton's, gentlemen, please strive to be a Jalen Hurts.

[00:12:24]Darius: We don't know these people. We had never heard Jaylen Hurd. If he got in front of a mic, he might say some crazy stuff.

[00:12:29]Jordan: Oh, no, I'm saying because he has an all woman like team behind like management and stuff like that. I think that's really dope. So yeah, but you know, that was that was some crazy ****. Again, thanks again for the content. We appreciate it.

[00:12:43]Darius: It's just it's like the just the content wheel, right? He feeds us. One day we'll feed him. You never know. So.

[00:12:50]Jordan: All right.

[00:12:56]Darius: So who who who recommended something for Valentine's Day? What happened now?

[00:13:01]Jordan: Oh, yes. I was talking to a friend of the show and I was saying, tell them how we're going to we need to put some content or asking the fans, you know, what they want to hear, what movie they want us to watch to read for Valentine's Day. And the friend was like, that's really dope. It's really cool. Whatever, And we're like, and I was like, yeah, well, we don't get much friend engagement. So we're probably just going to ask you to recommend them. All right. What did she recommend? Probably just going to be you. She hasn't recommended anything yet. I haven't. I'm going to wait and make a post, social post for the fans to see. Let them know we want to hear what they want to want us to watch and review for Valentine's Day. And then we'll go from there. And if we don't get anything, hear anything back from them, Then we'll hit her up for recommendation.

[00:13:48]Darius: So you heard it there, folks. Send all of your recommendations for Valentine's Day. We will probably be recording that next week. So yeah, recording that next week. I believe so. Yeah. Cause Friday is the 13th. Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th before Valentine's Day. Nice little.

[00:14:04]Jordan: Yeah, it's a little.

[00:14:06]Darius: I'm into it. Do you have a Valentine this year? No, I'm not. Don't answer that. Next question. Are we supposed to pre-flight these? We just had a meeting. Have you been following the DoorDash discourse this year recently on the Internet?

[00:14:29]Jordan: No, not what I miss.

[00:14:32]Darius: So there's a there was a an article written that said it was basically I think it was in the New York Times and it was just how much Gen. Z or one of these, like how much people are spending on DoorDash in a week. And it has sparked this like never ending strength. DoorDash is always the discourse online. And it's like, why do people use this service? And then there's people who are like, well, I have to use it because I can't cook. Or it even gets so far, some people like, well, you don't know the disabled people have to use it. And I just, I'm not anti DoorDash. Like I obviously use DoorDash, but I'm consistently amazed that like, apparently there are people who've just feed themselves entirely with DoorDash. And someone said that food delivery services are just attacks on people with low executive function. And I think I agree with that. Like, why are you, what happened to, okay, once, okay, that's fine. Like you wake up, hung over, cool. But like your everyday meals are via DoorDash. Like all three meals. That to me, what happened? Like, why are you not like, is there something you don't know or like what's going on? Because it is like, Beyond the fact that it's absurdly expensive, it's also just not the best way you're going to get your food is going to be lukewarm or it's going to be late. Or explain to me why why do people why would anyone be subsist wholly on DoorDash? Is there something that I'm missing?

[00:16:09]Jordan: I don't know. So I do DoorDash not freak. Well, it depends on the week. Honestly, for me, I do it mostly during the day when I'm working because I work remote and I have two monitors and I'll have the kind of job where we're actively timestamped and **** throughout the day. So you're pretty much shackled to the desk. So it's just easier to do DoorDash because that way I don't have to get to make anything and I can have more of my lunchtime and more of my day to do other **** and get stuff I need done throughout the day. So for me, it's more of a time saving thing, honestly. Obviously it's more expensive, but it's like the 15 bucks versus the hour that it may throw my day off. You know, it's a minimal cost to pay every three, three meals a week, every day. That's I don't I got to get a break. So I don't know. I don't know about that life.

[00:16:56]Darius: I think I might use DoorDash two or three times a month at most.

[00:17:05]Jordan: Really? Okay.

[00:17:07]Darius: It's just I mean, if I do use it, it's like for fast food. I never would like go get restaurant takeout via DoorDash. I just did not know there's this world of people that just use it regularly. It's not that it's a bad service. I just don't.

[00:17:23]Jordan: I mean, if you know how to use it, I mean, like I order from places that are close by. So it's less than a 30 minute you know, wait, if you will. So there's, you know, food's gonna be warm whenever my time it gets here. You know what I'm saying? So I'm kind of in the sweet spot of town where it's everything, everything's close by. I'm like 7 minutes away from, you know, Brack Creek, Crabtree, so on and so forth. But I do, I do most used to DoorDash and Uber Eats, whatever. And like you be driving, picking **** up in Durham and driving Chapel Hill and **** like that. You could be, you could pick up an order and carry have to drive to Holly Springs, you know what I'm saying? So That is a bit, I think, honestly, just convenience is a big factor.

[00:18:08]Darius: I don't know the way. Okay, all right.

[00:18:10]Jordan: I'm not talking about every meal every day.

[00:18:12]Darius: I've had to be like, I don't have the time. It's too much to cook. And it's like, okay, so you just, that hour you would have spent cooking, you just scrolled Instagram. Like, don't tell me you were out rock climbing in between. I just don't believe that. I just don't believe these people are that.

[00:18:30]Jordan: Well, again, I don't know what these people are doing. Yeah, that's the thing, too, because you got to you have to do something to pass the time or do it while you're, you know, doing something.

[00:18:41]Darius: You know what?

[00:18:41]Jordan: I don't know.

[00:18:42]Darius: I forget what it was first to say. And this was a good point. Part of it is convenience, I think, for people, but part of it is.

[00:18:50]Jordan: I mean, laziness is a big factor, too, for sure.

[00:18:52]Darius: Well, it's that and. What does this one say? So one person said it's possible to get restaurant quality food if you learn how to cook at home. And obviously that's possible. If they can make it in a restaurant, you can make it at home. But I don't think that's what we're I think that's part of the problem. It was like, what did this person say? I want to quote them exactly. He said, As someone who cooks a lot, no, it's not possible. However, part of adulthood is recognizing restaurant food as a treat and accepting home cooked good, but not great or as good food as your daily meals. And I feel like people have been sigh-opped into thinking that they're supposed to have restaurant quality meals three times a day. And like, no, like my lunch today at work was some shredded chicken that I made Sunday for meal prep and a garden salad with some balsamic dressing. And it wasn't the greatest meal I ever had. No, but I'm a grownup and everything you eat doesn't have to be, like restaurant quality food. And like the idea that, and one of that, I think I Sunday morning I seared 3 chicken breasts and braised them. That was probably 6 bucks. And the bag salad was $4, which I split into three meals. So that's lunch for 3 1/2 days for $10. And none of that was like some high level, I wasn't out there, making gumbo from scratch.

[00:20:19]Jordan: Right.

[00:20:19]Darius: I just don't understand how people find themselves. And one, it is convenience. And 2, one of the first things I tell people when they go, when they try to go on a fitness journey is like, you have to rid yourself of the notion that everything you eat has to be amazing. And I feel like people have like forgotten that. And like you have to treat, restaurant food is supposed to be a one-off treat. Like Friday night, you worked all week. Let's get some takeout. The idea that just for lunch every day at work, you're going to have Chinese food, like from the takeout. I just don't understand that.

[00:20:51]Jordan: Like that's, Well, again, it's like the streamification of everything. You know what I mean? Like you can access everything with a click of a button. So if I can, again, We have removed podcasts. Theaters are dying. If I can, you know, hit the Netflix button on my remote to watch Netflix. If a movie's boring for 10.

[00:21:09]Darius: Minutes, I'm just going to pick a new movie.

[00:21:11]Jordan: Correct. You know, so it's like if I if I if I have to can bypass getting dressed, driving there, wait, whatever the wait is, sitting down, water, appetizers, you know, getting the food, waiting for the check to come. That's, you know, again, like I said, you're You're spending more money because the tax and the tip and all that and the delivery fee, but you've you probably saved yourself an hour and a half to two hours. So again, it's what do you value more?

[00:21:36]Darius: Do people just not cook at home? Am I just this ****?

[00:21:39]Jordan: I don't know.

[00:21:40]Darius: Like the fact that that's not even a consideration in your whole explanation. It's just it never occurred to you that you can just cook at home.

[00:21:50]Jordan: I mean, I can make it. I'm the wildest I can cook at home. I make food at home.

[00:21:55]Darius: That's the part of the conversation. People are like, well, it's cheaper than going to a restaurant and I save time. And I'm like, have you ever heard of grocery shopping? That is still a thing. There's A Harris Teeter on every corner. You don't have the.

[00:22:06]Jordan: University stores anymore because of the apps, which is basically a streaming service. So yeah, I don't know. I think people just don't like, I think people just tired and burnt out. And I think they don't have the energy or feel like they don't have the.

[00:22:18]Darius: Energy to make jobs that are perfectly temperature controlled. And they're burnt out from what? You're not working in a coal mine. Give me a break. Give me a ******* break. My dad delivered newspapers in a Minnesota winter and you're burnt out. Not you, the royal you. You're burnt out because You typed too hard today. Give me a break. So anyways, so I have a prompt for you.

[00:22:44]Jordan: Yeah.

[00:22:45]Darius: I saw, I think I, don't know what inspired, but I kind of figured the, actually I was texting a friend and that was like, that's a good podcast topic. So we'll call it roughly like 2017 to 2021 is what I call like peak woke fever, internet, Twitter, woke fever. Like the fever's broken a little bit now. You're even seeing some things that were once taboo coming back into the lexicon. But anyways.

[00:23:13]Jordan: Right.

[00:23:14]Darius: Was there a moment where you were just like, nah, that's a little too low for me. I can't go. I can't get with this one.

[00:23:25]Jordan: OK, so I'm trying to think like the most not recent, but I think. The woman versus female. That's not a specific one, but it was one that like, okay, it's like, for example, I remember when Michael B. Jordan was like doing press for Creed, like the first one.

[00:23:44]Darius: Yeah.

[00:23:45]Jordan: And it was controversy, like controversy that he like used the word female in a situation. And he was like, I didn't even, I didn't even know that was like bad. I thought, you know, guys are out. Yeah, and it's like, there's the explanation of the people from people who say why it's considered offensive because the terms male and female were generally used for animals or black people back in the chattels during times of chattel slavery. So I do get that. But I do also believe that In certain sentences, female just sonically sounds better than woman. You know what I mean? I love hanging out with my women friends. That sounds like something a robot would say. But also in certain stories, you do need to differentiate that it is a man versus a woman when you're telling the story sometimes. I'm not going to say I walked my friend home and gave them a kiss on the cheek. I'm going to need to specify that it was a girl.

[00:24:38]Darius: No, I think. I think what that how it's explained to me is like female as noun is bad. Female is adjective is fine. So like female friend is fine, but I hung out with a female is bad.

[00:24:51]Jordan: Yes. Okay. Yes, that's a good point. That's perfect.

[00:24:55]Darius: What the new controversy is. Speaking of.

[00:24:57]Jordan: Because like female in certain instances, it's like diet *****.

[00:25:01]Darius: So like, you know, it's like when thug used to be the sports writer standing for the N-word.

[00:25:09]Jordan: Yeah, correct, correct. Exactly. Yeah. It's like, when dudes like, man, you ain't like a female. Like, you know what they're saying?

[00:25:14]Darius: You're saying, *****. Yeah, so it's like, I guess Shaboozi Sunday night said the country was, like he misspoke. He said the country was built by immigrants and born in the same slaves. And like, they own his *** about it. It's like, damn man, he meant well, chill. ****.

[00:25:35]Jordan: They cooked that, man.

[00:25:37]Darius: I'm like, damn y'all. This is actually going to bleed it to our next conversation, but it's like y'all got it.

[00:25:43]Jordan: I generally don't think he made any harm. I think he just was just talking off the cuff. You have adrenaline going, you know what I'm saying?

[00:25:49]Darius: He's probably been ripping and running since like 1:00 that afternoon. He's been on hot mic. He just didn't say the perfect word. Like, can we just back off, back away from the ledge? No. Okay. So I get you.

[00:26:05]Jordan: Yeah.

[00:26:05]Darius: My moment was there in peak woke. there was some discourse online and there was a school posted like a memo, a letter or whatever. And it was like, basically, it was like almost like a warning, like a parent's like, it was a list of things when you pick up your children that are like inappropriate. And it was like, hey, you know, no showing undergarments, no pajamas, no smelling like weed. And the discourse was like, this was white supremacy, respectability politics. And I was like, I don't know about that one.

[00:26:41]Jordan: See, okay, that's one we do need to talk about. Because there's a difference between being obsessed with the white gaze, G-A-Z-E, meaning perspective, not, you know, and respectability politics. Like there's a big difference in that and also, and then like being an adult, being presentable and **** and like not looking stupid. Like when sometimes when like a black celebrity does some bad people be like, oh, why are you doing it in front of the white people? I do hate that sentence. But in some situations it'd be like, okay, like you're doing a lot. in the environment. You know what I'm saying?

[00:27:13]Darius: I hear you. Oh, well, that would, I would just like, I don't know, y'all, man. Don't show up to pick up your kids smelling like weed. I don't think that's too much.

[00:27:21]Jordan: I feel like that's pretty normal. That's actually very normal.

[00:27:24]Darius: I don't know if that was the first time I was like, can't get it that way. You lost me on that one.

[00:27:31]Jordan: That reminds me of that scene from Coach Carter where the parents revolted because he wanted the kids to have like a 2.0 GPA.

[00:27:39]Darius: Which is just in high school, a 2.0 is Just showing up and being like, not in that high school. If you put your name on this paper, you're going to get a C minus. Like it's really right. Yeah.

[00:27:51]Jordan: Come on, man. But I get you. Yeah, that was that's kind of crazy.

[00:27:55]Darius: Don't show up in your drawers smelling like weed. I don't think that's too much to ask.

[00:27:59]Jordan: Like, yeah, that's especially to pick up your child. I think that's actually disrespectful. No, that's a good one. I'm trying to think of another one.

[00:28:09]Darius: Someone was like, well, you don't know if they have anxiety and they smoke weed. Listen, man, I, I, I, you lost me.

[00:28:17]Jordan: Like I. And by the way, if picking your child up causes that much anxiety, maybe being a parent is the wrong line of work for you.

[00:28:25]Darius: But also like there's this, there's this one tweet that I love and it was like people think they sound intelligent, pointing out obvious outliers when it's actually the opposite. Like what percentage of these parents showing up smoked out in their draws are doing it for because of anxiety? Like come on. Like you might find one in the whole ******* district. And that's what like you don't use outliers to set policy. Like you have to. Right. You know, like.

[00:28:54]Jordan: You mean exceptions for the outliers?

[00:28:55]Darius: Correct. Like you talk to them on the side and whatever's going on, work with that. But no, like that's not what we're talking about here. And you know that you're just doing that to be annoying. Like You know, like, yeah, you got another one of them.

[00:29:13]Jordan: Okay. I feel there's this thing now where people come up with like all these like ******** excuses to pass off like antisocial behavior slash being an ******* as like being unapologetically themselves or like, you know what I mean? Like this whole thing where it'll be people like, Oh, I don't. I don't need to perform for you. I don't need to smile and act like I'm happy all the time, which you don't. But if you're at work and you're on your coworkers all day, maybe say good morning every once in a while.

[00:29:44]Darius: I remember someone was like, this is peak woke. They were like, my child doesn't have to say hi to you when we visit your house. If my child doesn't want to, if he doesn't, like he doesn't consent to saying hello. And I'm like, look, man, If you go into somebody's house, you speak. You speak. You ******* speak, dude. Yeah, If you can't speak, then you need to stay in the car, because I don't know, unless you have some sort of cognitive developmental issue, that's different. That's totally different. But You saying your child don't have to speak when y'all enter someone's home because of consent. You lost me. Yeah.

[00:30:20]Jordan: Right. It's like, or there's that thing where it's like, those people who are like, oh, I don't like my friends' friends. I don't want to talk to my friends' friends. I don't need to, it's like, okay, well then don't come around your friends' friends. If you're gonna go around your friends' friends, don't be an ******* and make your friend look like an ******* too.

[00:30:34]Darius: Or just like, it's like, they act like it's so taxing to be pleasant. Like no one's asking you to be in their wedding. Like, okay, it's a mixed friend group. You might not be crazy about everybody here. But you keep it tight. You keep it cool. Hey, man, how's it going? And you keep it moving. Like there's why are you making **** weird? Because you just can't be a grown up for everybody. You know, like you can't be a grown up for a few hours. Like it's really not. Or just don't show up if you go, if you just can't. Yeah.

[00:31:00]Jordan: Man, I really hate that.

[00:31:03]Darius: Go ahead. Sorry.

[00:31:03]Jordan: Yeah, there's that thing now where I see a lot of people on TikTok. They talk about like, basically, I'm mean, this is just kind of how I am sometimes and blah, blah, blah. And it's like, But then you wonder why people think you're a bad person. People will be an ******* be mean all the time. And they're like, oh my God, I don't know why people think I'm an ***. Why I'm a *****. Like I don't.

[00:31:22]Darius: Why did I stop getting invited?

[00:31:23]Jordan: It's so weird. People think I'm a bad person.

[00:31:26]Darius: Why did I stop getting invited and ****? Now to go back to your work thing, someone said, I saw it and it was this funny *** prompt. I'm sorry, it's a bad audio, but it was like, There's always one of these kind of prompts where, how do I say insert rude comment in corporate language? And the guy responds, I have a supervisor who spoke almost exclusively in these euphemisms. And I just want you all to know that everyone can tell what yo
